Multi-runtime microservices architecture
Successful distributed applications should be stateless, scalable, configurable, independently released, containerized, automatable, easy to upgrade, affordable to maintain, and even—sometimes—event-driven and serverless. Balancing all that can be a challenge. In this article, Bilgin Ibryam describes how distributed platforms are evolving and what still needs to happen in distributed systems to make maintainable distributed architectures easier to build.
